Tokio Hotel History

The twins Bill and Tom Kaulitz have been into music since early childhood. Bill started singing and writing at the age of 9 and Tom has been playing the guitar since the age of 6. They started working on their talents and taking lessons when they were ten years old. Just two years later, in 2001, they met Gustav and Georg and founded Tokio Hotel. They immediately began working on songs and lyrics together. Gustav, who has been playing drums since he was 6, already had band experience that he put to use in the project.
Just half a year after the founding of the band the boys already had gigs every weekend in and around Magdeburg. It didn't take long before they were discovered by the music industry and were off to the studios. Despite their great succes they have managed to stay the same people that they were before the breakthrough. Life as a band has brought them even closer as they were before.That combined with the professionals that assist and guide them makes their songs become better and inspire them to keep surpassing themselves.

I like these two and think they have wonderful promise in their careers but I have a major concern with them. IMO their representation to the largest market in the world has gone unnoticed. Barely anyone knows them in the largest market. They are missing out on so much and they have not had any new music in such a long time. The music business is a business and I wonder how long a record label will hold on to them if they are not bringing in money into the USA. Is it a matter of time before their music is a memory and they slip back to their country with just memories or will someone teach them how to use the media to get their careers started here in the USA? ??
