Tokio Hotel History

The twins Bill and Tom Kaulitz have been into music since early childhood. Bill started singing and writing at the age of 9 and Tom has been playing the guitar since the age of 6. They started working on their talents and taking lessons when they were ten years old. Just two years later, in 2001, they met Gustav and Georg and founded Tokio Hotel. They immediately began working on songs and lyrics together. Gustav, who has been playing drums since he was 6, already had band experience that he put to use in the project.
Just half a year after the founding of the band the boys already had gigs every weekend in and around Magdeburg. It didn't take long before they were discovered by the music industry and were off to the studios. Despite their great succes they have managed to stay the same people that they were before the breakthrough. Life as a band has brought them even closer as they were before.That combined with the professionals that assist and guide them makes their songs become better and inspire them to keep surpassing themselves.

Tokio Hotel: Bill Kaulitz in Germany’s Next Top Model

We return to talk about the leader of the most popular German band of recent times, Bill Kaulitz of Tokio Hotel. As we know he and his twin brother Tom have been living some time in Los Angeles, but this has not stopped Bill takes part in the recording of Germany's Next Top Model, hosted by Heidi Klum. In the episode as a guest artist, will air on 05 April at 20.15 hours, and the first scenes that go wandering around the web that catch your eye is only one thing: Bill's fluorescent green jacket studded along with a tank top with bright blue mark in sight. A nice change from all the black man that we used to see until a few years! In the clip he is seen surfing on a crowd of boys and girls, although not quite understand the context ... maybe we'll take a reference to the upcoming tour of Tokio Hotel? How Bill will manage the world of fashion and the catwalk? Well, something you should know ... he has walked the DSquared2 fashion show in 2010, has posed for some important photo shoots (with Karl Lagerfeld for Men's Vogue, GQ ...), saw front row at various fashion shows and has never hidden his passion for clothes and accessories. Although the style of "hard hats" is not the best demonstration. But you know ...tastes are tastes!

Teen Days: Tokio Hotel Characters..... !!!

Have you seen a cartoon named "Teen Days"?
If you have,then you have notice that there is a character named Elia AND he's the GUITARIST of the music band named Teen Days(just like the title) and he's SOOOO much looking like TOM KAULITZ,who is the guitarist of Tokio Hotel!
And it's not only that!
The series seems to be inspired by them as there is a character named Thomes who looks like GUSTAV SCHAFER who is the DRUMMER of Tokio Hotel!Also in one episode there was a pupper who looked like BILL KAULITZ the singer of Tokio Hotel and an orange flag with Georg and Gustav on it!
What there is to say???
HOLY TOKIO HOTEL SHIT!

Great News.... Announcing The New DAA X Tokio Hotel Competition!

Tokio Hotel and their fans have been supporting Designers against AIDS (DAA) since the spring of 2009 and they have helped us raise awareness about HIV/AIDS among young people worldwide and helped raise funds to start up our International HIV/AIDS Awareness Education Center in Antwerp, Belgium where we train students in how to make creative safe sex campaigns using pop culture.

As it has been some time ago that Tokio Hotel took part to ‘Fashion against AIDS’ and made their Youtube video for DAA
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=A7DKk6NQkjI we have decided on a special online competition for the upcoming spring, where you can win great prizes by thinking up a safe sex slogan that DAA can use in their next campaign and by making a small donation of 2 euros to Designers against AIDS, money that we will use for upcoming workshops, for instance to pay for flights for young, talented students from a poor country who otherwise can’t attend a workshop with us. So you can help DAA, do good, use your creativity to raise awareness AND win cool Tokio Hotel prizes!

These are the prizes:

Grand prize: the beautiful photo that was taken from the stage in Paris by Tom and Bill Kaulitz and that has been hand signed by the two boys. Tokio Hotel has donated this photo to DAA in 2010 and we think that we can make a fan very happy with it soon!

2nd prize: the last Tokio Hotel ‘Rock Hard F*** Safe’ for ‘Fashion against AIDS’ T-shirt in unisex style (size Large)

Bill & Tom Kaulitz - What happened to Tokio Hotel?

Bill and Tom Kaulitz from Tokio Hotel on their way home in LA. Bill with five-day beard, nose piercing and men handbag. Tom with greasy braids.

The sunken cheeks, the gold jewelery. The tattooed spider arms sticking out of the leather jacket, he wears his cap pulled down over his pierced face.

We see Tokio Hotel superstar Bill Kaulitz (22) through the streets of Los Angeles. And his (10 minutes) older twin brother Tom (22) don't look like the glory days of Magdeburg's teen idols ("Durch den Monsun"). Unshaved, hair braids, giant clock on the wrist. But Tom grinned cheerfully at least from the baggy clothes - and also has a lot more "muckis" on the ribs.

What the hell happened to Tokio Hotel?

The brothers have returned to the United States. And indeed complete: No CD, no tour, no interviews - for over two years! Should we be worried about?
