Great News.... Announcing The New DAA X Tokio Hotel Competition!

Tokio Hotel and their fans have been supporting Designers against AIDS (DAA) since the spring of 2009 and they have helped us raise awareness about HIV/AIDS among young people worldwide and helped raise funds to start up our International HIV/AIDS Awareness Education Center in Antwerp, Belgium where we train students in how to make creative safe sex campaigns using pop culture.

As it has been some time ago that Tokio Hotel took part to ‘Fashion against AIDS’ and made their Youtube video for DAA
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=A7DKk6NQkjI we have decided on a special online competition for the upcoming spring, where you can win great prizes by thinking up a safe sex slogan that DAA can use in their next campaign and by making a small donation of 2 euros to Designers against AIDS, money that we will use for upcoming workshops, for instance to pay for flights for young, talented students from a poor country who otherwise can’t attend a workshop with us. So you can help DAA, do good, use your creativity to raise awareness AND win cool Tokio Hotel prizes!

These are the prizes:

Grand prize: the beautiful photo that was taken from the stage in Paris by Tom and Bill Kaulitz and that has been hand signed by the two boys. Tokio Hotel has donated this photo to DAA in 2010 and we think that we can make a fan very happy with it soon!

2nd prize: the last Tokio Hotel ‘Rock Hard F*** Safe’ for ‘Fashion against AIDS’ T-shirt in unisex style (size Large)

3rd prize: the last Tokio Hotel ‘Rock Hard F*** Safe’ for ‘Fashion against AIDS’ T-shirt for girls (size 36) that we have here

4th -8th prize: a copy of our first book ‘Designers against AIDS: The First Decade’, with a poster of Tokio Hotel inside

9th- 10th prize: a unique ‘Fashion against AIDS’ button (big model) featuring Bill and Tom Kaulitz

11-15th prize: a black & white poster of Tokio Hotel (the same poster as in our book)


How to take part to the DAA X Tokio Hotel Competition:

1. Think up a cool safe sex slogan!

2. Go to www.paypal.com, click on ‘Send Money’, fill in “To” (email): tokiohotel@designersagainstaids.com and the “Amount” (2 euros or more), then click on ‘Personal’ , mark ‘Gift’ and click on ‘Continue’. On the next page, under ‘Message’, write down your safe sex slogan plus your name and full address in case you win one of the prizes, so we know where we should send your price. Then click on ‘Send Money’ and you’re ready!

3. You can repeat steps 1 and 2 as many times as you want; each entry will enter in the competition separately.

The DAA X Tokio Hotel Competition will start today and will end on Sunday April 29, 2012 and all 15 winners will be notified before May 12th, 2012.
